What is 3D Secure?

In order to avoid a transaction being rejected because the customer disputes the purchase from his bank, it now verifies the identity of the customer. In addition to the number, the date of validity and the cryptogram, with the 3D Secure system, the cardholder must authenticate with his own bank by providing a code or personal information.
